Martin Seifert

Martin is Senior Science and Technology Provider at 10x Genomics. Martin started his scientific career with gene expression studies in zebrafish at the Technical University in Munich. After completing his PhD, he worked on endocrine disruptors in John Sumpter's Lab at Brunel University London. Later, he joined Genomatix, a recognized leader in bioinformatics, further deepening his ties with life sciences and technology. Before joining 10x Genomics he founded the consulting company Connexome, providing strategies for multimodal analyses in clinical settings. He has a keen interest in collaborating with those developing approaches to integrate single-cell and spatial technologies with data from clinical information. Martin has co-authored many peer-reviewed publications in the field of genomics, epigenetics and transcriptomics.
