Prof. Dr. Kerstin Leopold

Kerstin Leopold is Professor of Analytical Chemistry at the Institute for Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry (IABC) at Ulm University, Germany. She has been working in the field of trace analysis for about 20 years. Her research focuses on the development of new methods in trace element analysis, speciation and nanoparticle analysis using atomic and Xray spectrometry. Her interdisciplinary projects aim at application to real samples from environmental, biological, (bio)medical and energy research and applications. She has authored more than 70 scientific publications and is an active reviewer and review editor.
