Dr. Thomas Jahn

Thomas Jahn leads Dewpoint Therapeutics` Discovery Biology Team in Germany and orchestrates R&D at Dewpoint’s Dresden site. He has key expertise in establishing innovative disease models and enjoys developing new therapeutic modalities for challenging drug discovery targets. Prior to joining Dewpoint Therapeutics, Thomas was a Group Leader in the Neuroscience Discovery organization at AbbVie in Germany and has been the founding Head of a Research Group at the German Cancer Research Center in Heidelberg, where his team contributed significant insights into the molecular processes governing the progression of neurodegenerative diseases. Thomas obtained his PhD from the University of Leeds, UK in Structural Biology and completed his postdoctoral training in Molecular Biology at the University of Cambridge, UK.
