Dr. Timm Schwaar

Dr. Timm Schwaar is a co-founder and CEO of SAFIA Technologies GmbH. He obtained a PhD in Chemistry with a specialization in Applied Analytics and Environmental Chemistry in 2021. Before founding SAFIA, Timm worked as a scientist at the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM), where he focused on developing particle-based high-throughput methods. His entrepreneurial journey began with leading an EXIST startup project, funded by the BMWK from 2020 to 2022, laying the groundwork for SAFIA Technologies. Under his leadership, SAFIA specializes in innovative solutions in the fields of food analytics, environmental technology, and diagnostics. At SAFIA, he is primarily responsible for management, sales, and financing.
