Lecture description

core sensing, a provider of intelligent and integrated sensors with wireless measurement amplifiers, specializes in the acquisition, analysis and interpretation of measurement data from the INSIDE of machines and commercial vehicles. The sensor measures loads such as forces and torques for process control and to predict failures before they occur due to its built-in load history memory. The technology is used in mining, construction and agricultural machinery to increase their level of autonomy. The presentation includes a few exemplary use cases that illustrate the capability of this novel smart sensor technology as an enable for novel digital business models such as PdM and Pay-per-Use.
