Manuel Klein is Chief Technology Officer (CTO) & a Co-founder of EKU Power Drives. Before his time with EKU Power Drives, he was a manager in the R&D department for gas engine development at MTU Friedrichshafen and was team leader for the electric power train mechanics at the Greenteam Stuttgart. His first industry experience was at BEHR developing CAD methodology, where he was tasked with designing air conditioning and engine cooling systems. Later, he designed the cooling system for the racing car of Rennteam Stuttgart. He was a sub-project leader for electrical components of mobile natural gas engines for marine applications and bi-fuel systems in the oil and gas industry. Manuel completed his MBA at University St. Gallen, with his thesis dedicated to addressing the O&G 2014 downturn with technology efficiency. He focused on systems such as the ESC (Engine Standby Controller) which was eventually a focal point of EKU Powers Drives future development.
