Electronic nose represents a novel powerful tool. This compact electronic device can be efficiently used for various applications where other sensing technologies fail. Electronic nose is able to detect a presence of a specific complex mixture of gases and volatile organic compounds in the air.
Recently SmartNanotubes Technology has developed an electronic-nose platform which is a combination of a highly sensitive multichannel detector chip based on carbon nanotubes and an AI based software. In this presentation we will discuss practical applications of this technology for different use cases. In particular, we will focus on its potential use for medical diagnostics. Examples from current projects based on detecting and recognizing of body smells will be presented.
