Biography
Prof. Dr. Dipl. Biol. Astrid Petersmann is a biologist and physician. Since 2020, she has been leading the Institute of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine at the University Medicine Oldenburg. Previously, she worked at the University Medicine Goettingen and had a long-standing position at the Univeristy Medicine Greifswald. Her focus areas include point-of-care diagnostics, clinical-epidemiological studies, and metabolomics. In NUM (Network University Medicine) she has contributed to a number of projects, among other NAPKON. Here she is the Speaker of FOSA (Medical disciplines and organ-related working groups) as well as of the Use-and-Access-Committee.
