Lecture description

LADS (Laboratory and Analytical Device Standard) is a new communication standard specifically developed for laboratory and analytical devices. It was released at the end of 2023. LADS establishes a consistent and standardized communication interface between laboratory devices and software, enabling effortless integration of lab devices into management systems such as LIMS, ELN, or others. LADS is an open standard and follows a vendor-neutral approach, allowing the use of devices from different suppliers.
This presentation introduces LADS from a user perspective and demonstrates how it can benefit your lab and daily business. It showcases possible applications of LADS in your lab and explains why you need it to automate your processes, whether it’s routine measurements, calibration checks, or data acquisition, with ease.
