Biography
Dr. Melanie Kahl is a Consultant for Lab Automation at infoteam Software AG, where she combines her expertise in laboratory processes with software-based automation technology. Her background also includes quality assurance work within the highly regulated pharmaceutical industry. After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Biosystems Engineering (B.Sc.) and her Master’s in Life Science Engineering (M.Sc.), Melanie pursued a binational PhD split between the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia, and Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany. During her doctoral research, Melanie’s focus was on developing automated opto-mechatronic screening solutions specifically designed for 3D cell cultures.
